Honorary Fellowship Award

On 15 October 2011 Yvonne Mason became an Honorary Fellow of University Campus Suffolk. Yvonne joins past Honorary Graduates including the comedienne Jo Brand, former Chief Executive of M&S Sir Stuart Rose and local foodie/farmer Jimmy Doherty. Yvonne was awarded her fellowship for her work and dedication to improving the futures of young people and giving them life opportunities making a real difference every day.

Up Pompeii!

The Trust provided funding for a Ryan Finch to undertake a trip of a lifetime to Italy to study volcanoes. He has now been accepted onto a course at the UEA to study Environmental Geophysics so the experience will have proved invaluable. Project Sri Lanka

Georgette Bradford recently undertook a 10 week volunteering trip around Sri Lanka with funding support from the Trust. During her time she worked in an orphanage housing around 30 children and visited a meditation centre which held session for pregnant women, teachers and prisoners. She also went to the British High Commission to meet with the High Commissioner. Anyone for Tennis?

The Trustees' have recently providing funding support for a young man called Sam Parfitt. Sam ForehandSam is a very promising tennis player and is currently ranked 6 in Norfolk. From a young age Sam decided tennis was something he wanted to pursue and backed by his parents, who both played tennis, with Sam's father also acting as his coach he started out towards his goal. The Climate Run 2012
