The following areas will be considered by the Trustees when reviewing funding applications from organisations:
- detailed information regarding the project for which support is sought, i.e. aims/objectives/expected outcomes
- what effort has been put in to date to try and achieve objectives
- the level of overheads should not be disproportionate to the level of expenditure on delivery of activities/projects
All applications must include the following:
- a fully completed application form
- a set of the most recently available company accounts
- as much supporting information in respect of the project for which you are requesting funding
- letters from individuals participating on trips (see below)
Please check the meetings schedule on the Funding Applications page to ensure that you allow enough time for your application to be receivied and considered at the relevant meeting to fit in with any specific timescales you may have.
To avoid any delays it is important that you provide all the information requested. If your application is incomplete it may be reviewed by the Trustees' however, a final decision will not be made until all the information is received to complete your application.
Please note: Repeat applications for a project eg: an annual school trip, will be accepted for review up to a maximum of three times. Such applications will need to include a list of named participants together with letters from each of the individuals stating reasons for going on the trip, benefits they will gain and how they will use the experience in the future. It is Trust policy not to provide funding for the same individuals on multiple occasions. This ensures that the Trust is able to assist as many different young people as possible.
