Working with Education

Helping young people to help themselves

Main offer

Our current main offer to education is through our www.icanbea.org.uk website - a free online platform where young people can explore career ideas in the context of Norfolk and Suffolk's growth industries, follow potential and local employer organisations, plus browse, filter and apply for select opportunities on offer in the region.

icanbea... is a free-to-use, self-service platform.  If you would like more information about using the site for yourself, school or organisation, please get in touch.

A legacy of support

We've helped young people in Norfolk and Suffolk by working with them through - and in - education for more than 15 years.

Our education programmes have included includes direct schools engagement and in recent years focused on providing classroom-based sessions in schools and colleges, namely workshops on understanding where certain skills could lead, identifying local career-start opportunities and getting a working CV up and running using our free online platform 'icanbea...'

We have also also worked with other aligned organisations such as Norfolk and Suffolk County Councils and the DWP (for example), supporting groups of young people or individuals looking for career information.

Info for education professionals

We continue to offer an ad hoc, one-to-one advice service for young people who are looking for specific opportunities or routes into industry, or want additional help considering their options.  We can provide information about the employers that we work with as well as offering general advice and CV writing support etc.

Check out our Thinking about Careers page to get started or take a look at our Mentoring Service for more bespoke support.
